The facility is located at the Metropolitan Sports Complex in Bakersfield, California next to the Kern County Museum. We offer Dirt Oval and Concrete Oval racing year round, from Club Racing to large scale National Events. Bakersfield R/c Raceway uses a world class AMB Scoring System with the latest racing software available. The AMB system accepts AMB 2 and 3 wire personal transponders. We have "House Transponders" available to use if needed at no cost. If you are a serious racer or just want to have fun, this is the place for you. We have a family friendly environment where all ages are welcome. Spectators are welcome and free to come and watch the fun.

Annual "Memorial Day Classic" 

 
Annual Memorial Day Concrete Classic

Bakersfield R/c Raceway hosts the Memorial Day Concrete Classic annually. Awards are given for the top 3 finishers in each class. BBQ with family and friends. Veterans always race for free. This event is in remembrance of the Veterans that have past away in peace time and in war time. We have a ceremony to honor them. This is a event you do not want to miss!
 
 

Annual "All-Star Shootout"

 We Race the All-Star Shootout once a year. Awards are given for the top 3 finishers in each class. This is one of four our biggest events of the year.
